The 2023 edition of JOBIM was held from 27 to 30 June in Nancy, Nice, Plouzané, Pointe à Pitre and Tours, as well as remotely. This year's event attracted 350 participants, including 225 on-site. We would like to thank all the speakers (keynotes, parallel sessions, mini symposia, posters) and participants who contributed to the quality of this event and the discussions.
Les Journées Ouvertes en Biologie, Informatique et Mathématiques
The Journées Ouvertes en Biologie, Informatique et Mathématiques (JOBIM) are an opportunity to discover scientific and technical advances in bioinformatics. This 2023 session will address many multidisciplinary fields including, among others:
algorithms and data structures for sequences
knowledge representation, visualization and databases
evolution, phylogeny and comparative genomics
functional and integrative genomics
metagenomics, metatranscriptomics and microbial ecosystems
structural bioinformatics and proteomics
statistics, machine learning, artificial intelligence and image analysis
systems biology and metabolomics

The event
For more than 20 years, JOBIM has been the annual event that federates French bioinformatics. The 2023 edition will be held on 5 sites in France from 27th to 30th June.
The selected sites are :
Nancy
Nice
Pointe-à-Pitre
Roscoff
Tours
Organisation
The organization of JOBIM is led by the Société Française de BioInformatique (SFBI), in partnership with the French Institute of Bioinformatics (IFB) and the Groupement de Recherche Bioinformatique Moléculaire (GDR BIM).
